Roger worked at the station for 28 years

Roger's memorial: Listen online

A special memorial service was held for former BBC Radio Bristol presenter Roger Bennett.

Roger died from cancer in July 2005, having presenter the station's breakfast show for 28 years.

The memorial, at St Mary Redcliffe Church, also saw a stained glass window dedicated to the keen musician.

Roger was a part of BBC Radio Bristol from the day it opened in September 1970 until his retirement in December 2002.

The window was paid for by donations from friends and listeners to his radio programme.
