big lottery fund

The Big Lottery Fund grants scheme has enabled thousands of people to create a ‘breathing place’ for themselves and wildlife. To date £8.5 million has been invested into green space from scrubland to city parks and wasteland to woodland. Below are just some of the ones which have benefited.

And now things have got even better as the Big Lottery Fund has just announced another phase of funding to help existing groups celebrate the success of their breathing place and get more people involved in looking after it! Find out more on the BIG website.

Our tracked projects

Two of our projects have offered to let us track their progress as they use their Big Lottery grant to transform their Breathing Places. Keep coming back to check on how they're getting on.
