Rejuvenating Renfrewshire

In spite of containing Scotland’s largest town which is not a city - Paisley - Renfrewshire is 80% rural in character. Wild upland areas exist at Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park and at Gleniffer Braes Country Park. Renfrewshire has two Special Protection Areas safeguarding estuaries with important bird populations.

There are seven managed nature reserves and a growing number of projects where people are getting together to do one thing for nature in their local breathing places.
