The Ramblers

BTCV (British Trust for Conservation Volunteers)

Go on a conservation holiday, keep fit at the Green Gym, start a conservation project with your local school – the opportunities to volunteer are endless. All you need are wellies and enthusiasm.

Federation of City Farms and Community Gardens

For a touch of the countryside in the city, visit a city farm! Whether you want to volunteer, make a visit, organise a trip for a party of children, this is the best place to start.

GreenPrints

GreenPrints uses the experience and expertise of five organisations to encourage more 16 to 25 year olds to volunteer their time and energy to improve green-spaces in their local communities.

Get involved in 1 or 2 day events which are happening all over the UK or if you're passionate about a certain area you can apply for a long-term flagship project and get a grant of up to £10 000.

The Big Lottery Fund

Responsible for giving out half of the money raised by the National Lottery for good causes, The Big Lottery Fund have worked directly with Breathing Places to support over 1,000 community groups with a share of £9.5 million.
