What is our mission?
To enrich people's lives
The BBC provides a wide range of distinctive programmes and services for everyone, free of commercial interests and political bias. They include television, radio (national and local) children's, educational, language and other services for key interest groups.
Audiences drive the positioning and delivery of all BBC
brands. They are at the heart of everything we do. Each of our audience
members has a unique relationship with the BBC. The breadth and diversity
of the BBC's sub-brand portfolio is impressive; growing and changing on
a daily basis. The BBC brand (or logo) is our badge of honour. It says
to our audience that they can trust our content and can rest easy in the
knowledge that anything that carries our logo will uphold he BBC core
