Laila Balawla , Business Management, second year, has a lot of ideas. She says: "If I were Chancellor of the university I would make the food cheaper because everyone's gotta go into town to eat. They need to sort out the union and make it bigger and get rid of tutition fees!"

Both Samatha Farr, Business Management, second year, and fresher Yasser Amin, Applied Sciences, agree that tuitition fees should be scrapped. Samatha says: "If I was Chancellor I would get rid of tutition fees because I think tha
t it is just wrong."

Omar Mohammed, Business, second year, has other ideas. He thinks the university should be more accessible for everybody. He says: "My main focus would be more disabled students for better facilities, better access and better resources. Other than that, I'd just generally help with resourcing IT."

Carli Hume was at Huddersfield University for an open day. She says: "I'd put more courses on."

New students, fresher Kaleb Cunnine and prospective student Stephanie Morley said they'd make Huddersfield University more social with events and parties. Kaleb says: "I'd make a better nightlife."

While fresher Shahid Mahmood, Applied Sciences is a bit confused. "I don't even know what the role of a Chancellor is!"
