Bradford UnitedYou are in: Bradford and West Yorkshire > People > Bradford United > Bradford United Blog Bradford United BlogAs part of the Bradford United project, students and teachers from the Hanson School and Laisterdyke Business and Enterprise College will be writing occasional blogs. Here, Sue Horsley, headteacher at Hanson School, tells us how it's going! ![]() The Bradford United project was immediately interesting to us because we endorse its aims: obviously, we work closely with young people everyday and anything that tells us more about their opinions and what is important to them is immensely helpful. We are proud of our students and try to take advantage of projects which enhance their opportunity to showcase their talents – and we enjoy celebrating their achievements! Hanson and Laisterdyke are both community schools and we already work together in a Sixth Form Confederation. This project will help us strengthen our links and strengthen our communities. Students and teachers involved in the filming on Thursday were bowled over! Daniel interviewed me on camera – and he was just fabulous. I'm sorry I missed the visit to the studios on Monday because every one I've spoken to has given me really positive feedback. It looks like Hanson School is going to enjoy the project. Our students are demonstrating their intelligence and insight. They are discussing issues pertinent to their lives and have access to a new experience. That's all good! last updated: 22/04/2008 at 14:30 You are in: Bradford and West Yorkshire > People > Bradford United > Bradford United Blog |
