The World Cup on Bradford's Big Screen!If you're one of the thousands of Bradford's footy fans who've been watching England's World Cup progress on the Big Screen in Centenary Square, remember the footy screen's now moved to Odsal so even more fans can enjoy the excitement! It's been the Summer of the Screen so far in Bradford as footy fans from across the city - and beyond - have come together to follow England as they reached the last eight. In fact, the Big Screen's proved so popular that Odsal Stadium's now opened its doors so up to 10,000 people can watch as England - hopefully! - beat Portugal and head into the Semi Finals. And it's still all FREE! ![]() Bradford's Big Screen crowd! There will also be free parking at the nearby Richard Dunn Sports Centre. No alcohol will be allowed to be taken into the Stadium but there is a licensed bar. All England's matches are now being screened up at Odsal Stadium instead of Centenary Square so EVERYONE who wants to support England can cheer them on! Other World Cup matches not involving England will continue to be shown in Centenary Square. WIMBLEDON:Full coverage of the country's fave tennis event. Bradford's Centenary Square looks set to become our very own Henman Hill and Murray Mound! Plans are in hand to screen highlights of the competition which concludes with the Ladies' Final on July 8th and the Men's Final on July 9th. OPERA:Two great operatic highlights unique to the Big Screen. First, there's Mozart's Marriage of Figaro on Wednesday 28th June and then on Friday 7th July Puccini's classic Turandot (featuring that World Cup favourite Nessun Dorma). REFLECTING BRADFORDThe Bradford Big Screen is also going to show a range of programmes by city-based film makers and artists together with a whole schedule of live TV programmes from all the BBC's channels, with a real focus on the biggest events both in Bradford and across the UK. And, not only will programmes be running on the screen, but you can also get all the up-to-date information for Bradford too.
