Samantha's friends
Having a good time!

"No magic involved!"

by site user Samantha Bairstow
Samantha from Bingley is proud of her boyfriend who has brought family and friends together by DJ-ing the night away!

If you have ever attended a wedding, birthday party or any occasion which unites the people closest to you, you’ll know what a great feeling it is! Very similar to the feeling of being proud… Most people can identify with typical moments of being proud in their lives - having a baby, getting married or any other reason for being proud of yourself.

My proud moment came the other Saturday night, watching my boyfriend and two of his close friends do what they do best, DJ the night away.

Seeing somebody you love with a massive smile on their face, doing what they enjoy, successfully entertaining a room full of their friends and family is in my opinion what life is about.

The boys spend lots of their free time clubbing, watching their favourite DJs, buying the latest tunes and playing them to anyone who will listen, so to be able to get up in front of a room full of people and do this all night long, their way, was just fantastic to see. Like a child in a sweet shop, but much better.

Unluckily for the neighbours of my boyfriend (who have recently put their house up for sale and reduced the price several times) he likes his DJ-ing, very very loudly.

Back in August his friend booked a room at one of Bradford’s pubs, and boy are we glad he did! Every friend, family member or just someone who came along to the party, we all had an amazing night – one of the best!

The pub, situated in the windy back streets of Thornton, have offered the room to our boys free of charge for another party. I’m not surprised as we drank the bar dry of two litre bottles of vodka, Archers and a whole host of other things. As a result everyone was a bit legless, the way we like to be.

Needless to say the room accommodated many well known (and what my boyfriend likes to call) BANGING dance tunes. All I know is they got the whole room up on the dance floor and kept us there all night. Seeing the hour long video of the night made me cringe a little, along with over 100 photos, but at least we have something to remember it by.

The only downfall to the whole night was that it ended! You’d have thought when we walked through the door we were sprinkled with magic dust which made you want to dance all night, get very drunk and praise the DJs – that night there was no such thing! The best DJs in the world (in my opinion) created the atmosphere all by themselves. Together with their charm, banging tunes and the talent and ability to mix them in a way that makes you want to go crazy and have fun.

There was no magic involved, just pure talent and an absolute love of the music!
