Presenter Caroline Nolan and Dr Colm Donnelly of Queens University visit Tullahogue to examine political and cultural life in Gaelic Ireland.

Ulster, in the north, had always been the largest area under Gaelic rule since medieval times.

And the most powerful clan in Ulster was the O'Neills and their leader, Hugh O' Neill, Earl of Tyrone was inaugurated here, at Tullahogue, c.1580.
