Being Human
I'm pleased to be able to say that writer Toby Whithouse and Touchpaper Television have very kindly allowed us to put the script for the first episode of Being Human on the website.
The pilot aired as part of a series of pilots last year on BBC3, and was picked up for a full series. We've got the first episode of the series proper for you.
You can also watch the episode on iPlayer for the next six weeks.
Unless, of course, you don't live in the UK. In which case you're SOL. Sorry.
But, hey, at least you've got the script. :)

Good stuff. I've surprised myself by how much I've enjoyed watching it - vampires and fantasy seem to be very big these days even though more than ten years after Buffy first aired it all seems a bit tired - and I look forward to reading it to see how it compares on the page. Especially the policeman vampire who I thought was very good - see whether it's there in the writing or was thanks to the actor.
On the subject of scripts, Paul Ashton in one of his perfect ten posts praised the opening of Five Days. Any chance of getting episode one up?

Ah - it's not on the BH site it's on the link from your blog. Bit confused there. Maybe it should be on the BH site too? I'm sure da fanz would appreciate it as well as the wannabe writers.

I watched Being Human for the first time tonight, and loved it. Very unusual slant on a vampire/ghost theme. And the great thing about it? It's got so many human elements, with a non-human cast.

I would just like to say how much I enjoyed the first series of being human as there seems to be no way of emailing a compliment rather than a complaint to the bbc. Looking forward to series 2. Keep it up.
