The new look blog: keeping up with the comments

Robin Lustig | 13:57 UK time, Sunday, 5 July 2009

Several of you have said that since this blog was redesigned, you miss being able to see who has commented on what.

If you click where it says "jump to more content from this blog" (just below the picture at the top), you will see a column called "Topical posts on this blog" with the number of comments in brackets. The most recent are at the top.

I know it's not quite the same, but I'm afraid it's the best I can do ...

What a fantastic Wimbledon tennis mens final. Its a pity the BBC commentary didnt live up to it. What price the charisma of John McEnroe? Its a shame the BBC could not entice him away from the US network for the final. Instead of hanging on every McEnroe word we endured the banal comments of Boris Becker.
For the BBC it was a missed opportunity to capture the drama of a classic and historic final.

The BBC's previously award-winning web sight is rapidly being dumbed-down to a level of a childrens' 'PICTURE BOOK' and rendered useless to the UK in terms of promoting itself/its reasonable-interests overseas...

Considering what is at play for the UK and its future- the BBC ought to be receiving ample funding to restore the BBC's web sight to what it was 2-years ago in terms of depth, scope, variety & level of accessibility-by-overseas-persons...

The same can be said for the BBC's 'BBC World News' TV channel: an increase in funding to enable 'BBC World News' to be broadcast in 'High Definition', wide-screen format world-wide instead of only being broadcast world-wide in 'regular definition', letter box format is plainly urgently needed...

BBC World News's competition such as CNN and others are upgrading to HD...

If the BBC's overseas-accessible TV/video content, like its BBC World News channel, does not continue leading- which channel will potential viewers want to watch??

    Dear,Mr.Robin Lustig,
I have read it by attentive manner.
From my college days onwards i have been listening, waching all vital programmes either by radio,or tv or through website.
Last week, i have watched BBC world Tonight from TV channel.i have taken some notes for writing comments in BBC websites.
    But no provisions for that.
    Why?
Sometimes, same stories on old broadcasting, old videos are on BBC.
Yours a minute world news is a wonderful application, and worth to listen and watch.
Really amazing contents by a single minute from BBC.
I am too disappointed of your more focus on ex-tennis players words, moves during Wimbledon tennis matches.
To sum up,BBC-World Tonight is very nice.
