Were there no carriages, no horses, no military parades, no titles, no palaces, no cathedrals, no celebrities, no dignitaries, no royalty ~ stripped bare of all I would like to wish a man who appears most honourable and a woman who seems imbued of rare elegant grace, that they may both continue to build their life of love, started long before this day, with each next day to follow one upon the other, together.
    Best wishes, Will & Kate.

As usual Antie Beeb did a brilliant job, Mishal looked great, and the coverage was above standard. The rest of the world should take note (especially the yanks) of how it should be done.

The pomp and circumstance blended well with the simple service and the guests added the final touch. Excellent work, Good wishes to the bridal couple from Scots in Canada.

It was quite a challenge for me to watch the Royal Wedding as I usually let my 3 year old son watch his favourite cartoons. I set him up with paints and kokis and when he got bored with drawing and painting himself I helped whilst watching the wedding and breastfeeding my newborn. It was wonderful to be a part of such a historic and grand occassion. Loved all the pomp, elegance and grandeur! What a feeling!:)) Thanks for such a great coverage of a wonderful wedding.

What a great day! even though I am in NY it was wonderful with all of the chaos in the world this was just the ticket. I also thought that the reading from Romans was on point. The gown was beautiful, discrete, dignified, flattering great job Sarah Burton! Harry and William looked so handsome in their uniforms but then all fellas look great in uniform ;) Well done William and Kate and yes Diana was there in spirit, she loved those boys so much she was most definately there...Well done Diana you left behind two wonderful young socially sensitive young men well done.

The wedding was very nice, made me really feel good. It is so nice to see something positive and uplifting. I see the royal family as the caretakers of the wonderful British history and values of human rights and respect for each individual. I am very grateful to William and Kate for letting me be a witness to such a wonderful celebration of love and human dignity. You are so important to all the world as symbols of what is good in every human being. You bring joy and a desire to go out and make people happy and try to help others who need help. You have a most important role and a fantastic opportunity to make this a better world for all of us. I am so grateful to you; you have enriched my life, I thank you from my heart!

please save us from the likes of Simon Fanshaw. Only in Britain can we have a fabulous feelgood day and 24 hrs later pick it pieces and dissect to such a degree we destroy everyones happiness. There were "black" faces, there were ordinary people at the wedding and just think---if you were getting married; How many people of different race, colour or creed would be at yours. WE LOVED IT. Our American friends do not understand why we do this, they are still celebrating.

How do they come up with the Titles for each person in the Royal Family and why was The Dutchess of Cambridge chosen for Kate?

Never having been to a foreign country myself -- unless you count Canada as a foreign country -- I'm fascinated by what goes on out there.

So I woke up at 4 am Eastern Daylight Time channel surfing the morning shows to find most of the American network anchors slowing getting drunk on various libations the Brits brought to show how they (you) party.

But what really fascinated me were the cars. I was surprised that the Queen and Prince Phillip, and Charles and Camelia, arrived in separate Bentleys, which is the royal equivalent of slumming it, I guess. William and Kate rated separate Rolls-Royces. All followed closely by security in battleship grey Land Rovers. And, for the sake of variety, David Cameron and wife Samantha showed up in the back of a Jaguar.

You Brits wanted an all-Brit event, even down to an all-Brit collection of hyper-expensive automobiles ... except for that one foreign car with the Ford badge in Middleton's caravan. Yup, it slipped through somehow in the live feeds. I'm guessing that it carried Mrs. Cambridge's trousseau for later change-ups. The Ford even started in the bride's wedding van on the way to Westminster, but descreetly got out of the way for the wide shot down Grosvenor.

What I'd like the know, who does the Ford belong to? Kate drives a Land Rover too. So I'm guessing it's Kate's mom's.

PS. Mom had me tape the wedding of Prince Charles and Diana Spenser's wedding. But haven't gotten around to watch it yet. How did that work out for them by the way?

It's over can we move on to more worthy news now?

This was a wedding that was perfect in every sense of the word! A charming, radiant couple resplendent in their attire and who never put a step wrong in front of the adoring crowds. The future King and Queen have restored the people's love for the Royal family by their humilty and graciousness.

Thank you very much BBC World Service " have your say ", excellent coverage of the Royal Wedding, and also thank you for your interest in broadcasting the opinion of most of the other countries in the world , Raquel from Buenos Aires

I absolutely LOVED it! The bridal dress was exquisite, the service glorious and the ceremonial splendid. I do look forward to seeing close-ups of the bridal gown as the small taste of that wonderful workmanship was too little! It's also a treat to see such huge crowds having such fun and being so moved. God bless them!
