We've popped a load of photos up on our Flickr stream, you can see them at the right of this web page. The photo above is WHYS broadcasting in O'Hara's Pub. And here's a few videos from today to give you a taste of WHYS on the streets of New York. Please excuse the poor sound quality in a couple of them at the World Trade Center site, it was noisy!

[Personal details removed by Moderator] AS a civil rights worker and native of Birmingham, Al in the 60s, I feel that I am replaying that time with national repurcussions from this atmosphere of hatred let loose in this country and exacerbated by Fox media. They cherry pick the truth.
    1. This center is a Community Center to bring us together, not to further drive wedges between us. A small area will be set aside for Muslims to worship in.
    2. The former is almost beside the point. We all...Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Jew, all have a right to erect a place of worship anywhere we like in this country.
    3. Sex shops are OK, but a Community Center is not?
This is all being done to aggravate the Republican base and get them to the polls in November. IT is not a coincidence that this is happening right before we go to vote. Not the issues of jobs (which the Republicans have no answer to but 'No') but the big bad booger bear of Muslims. It's still "Fear and hate the colored people,' whether it's 1960 or 2010. Tenant farmers were impoverished after the civil war, and the formerly wealthy planters ingeniously turned white against black so that the poor whites voted against their own economic interests due to the hatred invoked by the demagogues.
This is all [Unsuitable/Broken URL removed by Moderator]

Alice, you state that the community center is a place to bring "us" together. Does "us" include homosexuals, or people that support the right of Israel to exist?

Your last paragraph is completely off topic so I will not respond to it.
