Philip Pullman reminds me of a Pharisee. When asked to face up to comments about the Catholic Church he suddenly turns hesitant. His explanation about being agnostic and atheist at the same time depending on how closely you zoom in is the most contradictory of statements I heard in a while. But again is an Atheistic stance a contradiction in itself?
