Your country's policy on Israel/Lebanon
I've been away from the programme for a few days, but it was clear to me when I woke up this morning and heard the news about a UN post being bombed that the crisis in Lebanon is still what everyone's talking about - with analysis and opinion coming from as far afield as India and Indiana. Do you agree with your country's response to the crisis? What has your government done? What would you like it to do? Let us know by posting a comment below or joining the online debate.
With Condoleeza Rice meeting world leaders in Rome to end the crisis, there's hope of some kind of resolution. Though Italy's Prime Minister warns today's meeting is just a first step. Here in Britian, aid groups have written a letter to Prime Minister Tony Blair to call for a ceasefire, echoing calls by Saudi Arabia, an ally of Washington. Israel and Hizbollah were not represented. Have you written a letter to your government or representative? Have you pledged money to help the victims? Or perhaps you feel strongly that the world should intervene... or stop meddling in the middle east. Let us know.
