The campaign to free Hao Wu

Post categories:

Fiona Crack | 17:58 UK time, Thursday, 6 April 2006

Hao Wu is a Chinese-American filmmaker and blogger who was arrested in Beijing just a week after speaking to World Have Your Say about media freedom and censorship in China. His sister Nina has started her own blog to share her thoughts and publicise her fight to free him.

We interviewed Nina for today's programme earlier this afternoon. She told us of her fear and resentment of the police officers who couldn't tell her where her brother was taken, and why she hasn't been able to tell her parents the truth about his disappearance.

Send us you thoughts on this story. We'll be keeping you updated about Hao Wu's case.
