Even the game they lost in the group stage against Switzerland was lucky. Spain dominated. They were very unlucky to not get a draw at least.

  Why? It's simple.. Germany have been the best team by far in this tournament, they know when to peak at the right time and play lovely attacking football, and as for Uruguay, well it's more interesting for an unfancied underdog to make it, they have a great team spirit and prove that having "world class superstar primadonas" isnt necessarily the way forward.
  
  Spain have been good but not great, they play nice stuff but rely to heavily on 1 man, Villa.
  Holland have been efficient but average, nothing more.

  holland 1 - uruguay 1 ( uruguay win on pens)

  As for the other semi, although Germany have been mighty impressive, unlike before, everyone now knows how seriously they must be taken, including Spain. Plus, Spain's defence is better organised than Argentina's, so this is a tough game to call.

  7. No team who can only draw with the worst french team ever deserves to win the world cup.

  ..couldn't agree with that comment more and I'd love English referee Howard Webb to award the Dutch some 'PAYBACK' for Jack Taylor giving Germany a first minute penalty back in '74! (wouldn't that be funny after what the Germans said regarding Lampard's goal).
  
  Strangely, I had Holland down as my winners on the BBC's predictor table from the start (maybe I have Octopus genes?) - problem is how to suppress the natural urge to support Spain in knocking Germany out in the semi first, thus spoiling the chance...it's a bit of a conundrum isn't it!?
