Matt and Dan have also been in Nottingham as they've heard there's a man called Craig Andrew Lonsdale, who's trying his hand at electrics... And doing a terrible job.
We decided to put Craig's electrical handyman skills to the test and invited him to a house with researcher Lucy posing as a pregnant home owner. Craig arrived at the property to fit a double wall socket in the kitchen and an outside light by the front door - a straightforward job that any competent person could carry out in two to three hours.
Craig Lonsdale is not Part P registered and so should not be carrying out this work before he involved Building Control. Failing to comply with building regulations can result in a fine of £5,000 per offence.

First off, the gang are in London on the trail of ADN pest control. Although the company is based in Kent, it operates all over South East England.
One customer stung by ADN is Sasha Taylor from Highbury in North London. She contacted the company after finding bed bugs.
At first, ADN Pest Control seemed like a professional looking outfit. They gave her a competitive quote of £125 and could come out quickly. But as soon as one of their technicians turned up she began to worry.
"He just started spraying it [the poison]. He didn't really look around. He just lifted the bed and started spraying. He didn't talk much so I had to ask him, 'What are you doing?' and 'How do you know it's there?'".

Marks & Spencer's Anti-Cellulite Firm Control Waist and Thigh Cincher Knickers cost £29.50 and are said to contain aloe vera, vitamin E and caffeine. M&S say they reduce the visible signs of cellulite but some medical experts accuse M&S of failing to provide evidence for those claims. They even suggested that ordinary, very tight fitting knickers would have the same effect. Watchdog decided to find out who's right so we set up our own, unscientific experiment.
We gathered five women who all wanted to know whether these pants really can combat cellulite. We took them to see top plastic surgeon Mr Douglas McGeorge who measured them to see how much cellulite they had...

The pound is finally rising against the Euro, but as millions of us prepare to go on holiday we could be in danger of wiping out the gains we might make on our exchange rates.
We spend nearly £300 million on cash withdrawal fees alone when we are abroad. So Watchdog sent Martin Lewis to Cardiff Airport to see if he could save holidaymakers some money...

There are very few things that get us as angry on Rogue Traders as pressure selling to the elderly. So when we found out about a mobility company based in Nottingham doing exactly that we decided to give them the special Rogue Traders treatment.
Please note: The company featured in the programme broadcast on June 10 2010 was Virgo Healthcare Ltd of Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire and should not be confused with any other companies with similar sounding names. The company featured is in no way associated with Virgo HEALTH which is PR and communications consultancy based in Richmond, Surrey.
Viewer Marilyn Bower thought she'd made sure her mother-in-law Ada would be properly looked after when she went for a week's holiday but on the night she got back there was a nasty surprise. A call from a police officer at the home the 82-year-old revealed she'd signed a contract for a rise and recliner chair at a cost of £1700.
This was a massive amount of money for Ada, a pensioner on a fixed income. She'd been visited twice by Stewart Young, a salesman from ABM Mobility of Nottingham. He took cash and a cheque before returning for a third time for yet more money. What made this all the more shocking to Marilyn is that Ada has dementia...

The HMRC has a hold over every taxpayer in the country - from making sure we pay the right tax to setting our pension. It's notoriously strict with anyone who makes mistakes about their income, often demanding back-payments and penalties with interest.
But complaints about HMRC's own errors seem to be increasing...

The sun may be shining at the moment but think back to earlier this year. The snow and ice was bad enough but when it thawed we were left with some new symbols of a broken Britain - potholes.

Owners whose phones have developed problems have been accused of damaging them and the company has refused to pay for repairs.
But Watchdog has looked into some of these cases again and it might be time that Apple did too.
iPhones have touch screens, GPS, the internet and much more but some of the more sophisticated features are the ones you can't see including a bit of technology that's causing some of you grief...

Sun T-Shirt Promotion
The Sun promised a free England t-shirt for every reader, inviting them to collect tokens by buying copies of the newspaper on ten consecutive days last month. They were then told they could swap the tokens for shirts at their nearest branch of JJB Sports.
However, Watchdog has received complaints from viewers who on taking their tokens to JJB have been told that the t-shirts have all gone.
The Sun said that readers can send off for the t-shirts instead but there could be a wait of up to 28 days before you receive anything back. Not great news considering the tournament starts in just over a week.
