More job losses, workers being consulted over redundancies and those forced on to shorter working weeks are being announced on a daily basis.

If anything it seems to be getting worse here in NE Wales.

Most working people have mortgages and seem to be using the cash they are saving each month to pay off other debts, incurred during the good times.

My take on this is that when the credit card bill is paid off, there is no incentive to save cash at current interest rates so folks will start to spend again and live within their means.

At this point the economy will start to recover and we can all enjoy job security once again.
