Three days in and four firms announce cuts
More job losses, workers being consulted over redundancies and those forced on to shorter working weeks are being announced on a daily basis.
If anything it seems to be getting worse here in NE Wales.
And now I'm sure we all know someone who has been hit hard by the credit crunch. Only last week I blogged, click here for a free smile after yet more stories of redundancies.
And still [1] they [2] come [3] in [4].

Of course if we didn't have all the silly employment legislation like minimum wages, there would be far fewer people laid off.

As we should all be a little scared for losing our jobs. No job is totally secured. Hang on and we can survive. Good Luck...

Most working people have mortgages and seem to be using the cash they are saving each month to pay off other debts, incurred during the good times.
My take on this is that when the credit card bill is paid off, there is no incentive to save cash at current interest rates so folks will start to spend again and live within their means.
At this point the economy will start to recover and we can all enjoy job security once again.
