Is it me or does the bridge wobble?
Ah, so it's the way people walk en masse over the footbridge at Eagles Meadow that starts the wobbling feeling.

I've seen and heard plenty of people stop and grab the hand bar saying 'is the bridge wobbling?' and today it has become clear just why.
A study of a number of wobbling bridges - not our very own new suspension bridge in Wrexham - shows the way people shift their weight from side to side when walking causes bridges to move.
And our bridge is quite narrow so people file along in two paths and in unison - one coming, one going - and so, I guess, it's that fluid motion that must make our bridge wobble. So there you have it - it's people power, and it's quite normal.

I see from the Daily Post newspaper that people are starting to complain that the wobbling bridge makes them feel ill. http://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-wales-news/2008/12/31/bridge-at-eagles-meadow-makes-people-feel-ill-55578-22579392/
