Flintshire Council plans to spend £100,000 on councillors' laptops - Evening Leader
Every county councillor in Flintshire could soon be given their own laptop, printer and IT software - at a cost of £100,000 to the taxpayer.

Wrexham drivers given 4,000 tickets in six months - Daily Post
Motorists parking illegally were hit with fines totalling up to £200,000 from when the council launched its new local authority enforcement team in March, until September. The top hot spot for on-street parking flouters was the Grosvenor Ward near the town centre, where 1,157 tickets were handed out, followed by Offa where 580 were slapped on vehicles, and Brynyffynnon where 404 drivers were caught out.

    How can they justify this when there are pensioners with heating systems in sheltered housing on Deeside that are failing after 5pm at night. The pensioners are going to bed to keep warm at 7pm at night?? They are unable to regulate the system because it is 20 years old and outdated. These tenants have been promised gas central heating for 10 years but told there is no money available
