Superlambanana unveiled on Moel Famau
You can view more photos on our flickr pages under the tag, Superlambanana , and read an earlier blog for background regarding the art sculpture.
So, now it's in place, what do you reckon to having an art sculpture on our mountain?

My tongue taught me caution,
I just wish my brain would heed it's advice;
who's in charge here anyway?
some communication would be nice.
As I was stood at the top of Moel Famau,
my head somewhere up in the clouds.
I gazed at this massive monstrosity
and realized I'd spoken out loud!
'Superlambbanana, what the hell is that,
a bit like Angel of the North on acid wearing a policeman's hat!'
As I looked at the wounded expressions of people standing near,
there on the top of Moel Famau's highest peak, for my life I began to fear.
I needn't have worried though, because they were a really friendly bunch.
they just smiled somewhat sympathetically,
as if to say 'Oh, that one's out to lunch!'
So, the morale of this tale is:
Criticsm of art should only be allowed,
as long as it's not spoken out loud!!

Poetic criticism - brilliant!

I even meant to type 'moral' in the the third from last line of my verse,
but having brought attention to my error, my 'morale' is now much worse!!

Where's a spellchecker when you need one,
or my glasses come to that,
As I look to see if anyone's commented,
I feel a complete and utter pratt!
I really should stop looking,
surely it cannot get much worse?
As I spot another typo in my Lambbanana verse!
So before anybody 'criticises' me for my error in the penultimate line.
Don't bother, I'm told I'm too self-critical, but if I keep taking the tablets, I'll be fine!!!!

EYESORE! That's what it is. Denbighshire/Flintshire county council / the countryside council for wales, or who ever is in charge or looking after moel famau, have gone mad. The big purple thing is a eyesore, how they can spoil an area of outstanding natural beauty is crazy. Planting a few trees would of gone down better. Just seems to be a waste of time, money and effort. Hopefully their will be a big gust of wind that might blow it away, but I suppose until then Llogerheads seems to be the venue to visit.

I think theyre an abomination and have no place within Wales. Our Welsh countryside is beautiful, it doesnt need trashy gimmicks to make it look more appealing. Keep them in the cities i.e. send them all back to Liverpool where they belong. They are not art, they are rediculous, hideous monstrocities.
