Putting the love back into our communities
Name some places that need a bit of a makeover in your community.
The issue has been prompted by the work of community groups and families on Wrexham's Caia Park estate to reclaim the so-called Love Tunnel which had become unsightly due to vandalism.
Take a look at the photos below. They're hoping the transformation - when completed - will make the place more appealing and ensure people no longer find the underpass intimidating.
After [well, kind of as the project is on-going]

You can find more photos on www.flickr.com.
So, where else should we do a makeover?

Nice to see that this project has generated such an amount of interest. There is a growing number of vids on U tube, the children and young people of Caia Park really done us proud.
I hope that all of these proffessionals can take note, give them some more interesting positive things to do. It just goes to prove there not just all about anti social behaviour doesn't it?
Give them credit and involve them in what to do next!
