No, the world, it seems, is talking about our very own Spiderman, aka the Chief Constable.

My feed reader [what's this?] has gone into overdrive overnight finding blog entries tagged Richard Brunstrom - and here's a round-up of what the blogosphere is saying in response to our Chief Constable's latest antics [Brunstrom breaks into Police HQ].

"Could he not have sent a memo, requesting all windows etc be shut?" - says Nigel posting his comments on the blog of Shadow Minister for Wales, David Jones MP.

Lots of bloggers reckon it's nothing more than a publicity stunt, including the blog of fellow police officers Ashfordly Police Station, North Yorkshire.

The nature of the web means the story has gone global with reports on New Zealand TV and in Moldova.

It has even been reported on the US-based Terrorism Research Center website which, incidentally, says the current threat condition is elevated - but that's got nothing to do with the security weakness highlighted Mr Brunstrom.
