The so-called Flintshire 14-19 Learning Pathways Network have teamed up with Deeside College to secure a £500,000 Welsh Assembly Government grant to build a shared, purpose built learning resources centre to promote extended learning opportunities to all post 16 students in schools and colleges in Flintshire.

The blurb continues, once constructed, the centre will look to ensure that every 16-19 year old has the opportunity to engage in a learning programme or activity which aids their personal development.
