Contributor Robert Frost has submitted photos of the old Denbigh Hospital from the 1950s. The comparison with the current state of the building is striking, but Wil has a suggestion for its future and it's to do with the recent news story regarding the possibility of building a prison in north Wales. I miss the place (I wasn't a patient, honest) I used to go there and watch Summer Leauge football (Llandyrnog and District) on the grounds in the early 90's

The place has really fallen to bits following the removal of the slates by a previous owner. Some Flickr users have been inside taking photos, which are all very sad.

As long as it's not an ope prison, I don't see any problems with it being used as a prison, it would bring employment to the area.
