Shwmae everyone!
Most of you will know me as Derek the weatherman from BBC Wales Today and I'm about to embark on a blog for the very first time...
I'll be out and about this summer visiting destinations around Wales and blogging about my adventures, the weather, the great outdoors and weatherman walking!
Keep an eye out for my exclusive weather updates here too, so you know when to take out your brolly.
I'd love to hear about events in your area as well as weird weather and anything else outdoors related so do get in touch and I'll do my best to reply to some of them when I have time.
You can also send in your best wildlife photos to our BBC Wales Flickr group and you never know - I might feature some on my weather report.
