2007 winner of BBC Cardiff Singer of the World.

"When I was doing BBC Cardiff Singer of the World it was not easy for me because it's one of the best singing competitions. But BBC Wales and the staff of Cardiff Singer are the greatest partners to work with and they always make good plans for the competition.

"We have to sing to the experienced audience and juries and I know there was pressure when I was in Cardiff. But everyone was so kind and warm. That was why I don't think it was extremely hard.

"But I would like to say, when you have done The BBC Cardiff Singer of World, it doesn't matter whether you win or lose. You will not be afraid or worry about anything else in your whole career. That is because I believe BBC Cardiff Singer of the World is a most valuable competition to do, and you will receive the best training of your singing here. It's a factory of talented people.

"I think if we are able to show our best in the Cardiff competition that will be the greatest treasure of your career."
