Successful Welsh artist Nick Holly is to open his own studio in Swansea that will showcase the work of both established and emerging artists in south west Wales.

Holly is best known for his depictions of traditional life and landscapes in Swansea, his work having drawn comparisons to artists such as LS Lowry.

The gallery, located in the heart of the Exchange Building in Swansea's Maritime Quarter, will offer gallery space for live working artists throughout the year - meaning visitors to the studio will be able to see artists at work.

The Nick Holly Studio Gallery officially opens on Saturday 10 May.
