The search for equilibrium

This week's show is now available via the BBC iPlayer. Please listen again any time between now and the start of the next programme.

The show was a pre-recorded affair. Wrexham went and won the right to play Newport in the playoffs at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, and I was honoured to have been invited to cover the build-up on BBC Radio Wales with the estimable Lisa Rogers.

The downside was that I had to pre-record this week's show in something of a rush - hence a lack of advance emails 'warning' artists that they were going to be featured. Apologies for that. Normal service will be resumed as soon as I find the Equilibrium Store and get purchase myself a job lot.

So, it feels like I haven't done a proper, live radio show for months. But, no matter, the show is about the music packed around my biscuit crumbs - and this week's spread features some corkers.

We have debut plays for Snodgrass, Just Eyes, Jay Stansfield, Kidsmoke, Orbits!, Spanish Dance Troupe, The Cosmic Array and Constructor.

Please send download links to themysterytour@gmail.com - or submit your finest pieces via the BBC Introducing Uploader.
