This week's show is now available via the BBC iPlayer. Please visit the link any time between now and the start of the next programme.

... and so we tumble into Autumn's fruitful and fiery loins, and that's an apt metaphor for the music in this week's show.

The fruit - ripe, lustrous and juicier than the Man From Delmonte's plimsols - comes courtesy of 40 or so varied pieces of sound (detailed below). As you're no doubt aware, government guidelines suggest that we should all aim to include 5 pieces of excellent new music in our aural diets every day.

A shocking 78% of people feast on Syco takeaways, brewing up a major potential timebomb for future generations. It's scientifically proven that the brain life expectancy of people with obese ears is significantly shorter. This show can help prolong your life.

The fiery loins this week belong to Alan Holmes (who warms things up with some Mescalero); Lara Catrin (translating pop with a generous fistful of Jalapenos courtesy of Gwenno) and Ben Hayes. I've run out of fruit/vegetables analogies now. It was getting tortuous anyway. Ben plays us some Sharon Tandy and it is ace.

Amongst the bounteous harvest of music, there are debut plays for: The Brythoniad Male Voice Choir, Fwdw - Cru, Los Cripis, Esprit Omit, Kadugodi, Indica Bale (& it is Indica Bale) and In Spectre.

We've got a couple of tracks from the BBC Introducing Stage at last weekend's Reading Festival and a preview of this weekend coming's Gwyl Gwydir (Festival) in Llanrwst - which looks ace.

Send new releases/demos/gig info etc to themysterytour@gmail.com.

Or via the Introducing Uploader.

Thanks for reading... (little 'r').
