More dry weather to come but fronts moving in

Yesterday Usk in Monmouthshire was the warmest place in Wales with a top temperature of 23.6 Celsius.

There's more dry weather to come this week but fronts will move in from the Atlantic bringing a little rain and drizzle followed by a change to cooler and fresher conditions for the weekend.

The Wales Open golf tournament starts tomorrow at the Celtic Manor Resort.

The weather there shouldn't cause too many problems for the golfers or spectators. A lot of cloud but mostly dry with temperatures peaking at 19 Celsius with a breeze.

Friday will be breezier with a lot of cloud but some dry weather but with spots of drizzle and a little rain during the afternoon.

The weekend will feel cooler and fresher with a noticeable breeze but a lot of dry weather is also expected with some sunshine and top temperatures of 15 to 19 Celsius.

Next week I am off filming for the new series of Weatherman Walking in Llandudno and Aberdovey.

The weather looks changeable but hopefully it will be more dry than wet with good visibility to show off the wonderful views and scenery.
