This week's show is now available via the BBC iPlayer. Please listen again any time between now and the start of the next programme.

I wonder how many times bands from Cardiff have braved a 16 hour drive to get to Salt Lake City and its venue of empty plastic cups and bemused gig goers. Not all that frequently, I wouldn't have thought. Well, that historic incident has been detailed for posterity in Andrew Falkous' Future Of The Left tour blog.

His eloquence, humour and tour dishevelled larynx transport us into the midst of FOTL's current American tour without us having to forego the comforts of our homes for the rather less enticing anti-comforts of a hurricane-buffetted tour van.

OK - it's just the last gasps of the baby tail of Hurricane Sandy - but still factually correct. Ish.

I get to play some Mudhoney, at Falco's behest, which is also something of a thrill.

Huw Williams gets all, erm, rama-llama-dingdong on our asses with something almost forgotten courtesy of the Peruvian Hipsters.

Prize-winning remixer/producer extraordinaire - Ben 'Soundhog' Hayes - takes a few hours out from his jetset lifestyle to remind us of the man behind some of the most whimsical and brilliant music to ever grace children's TV.

Your nostalgia gland will get a gentle massage, be warned!

Elsewhere we're soaked through with excellent music: exclusive new tracks from Gallops, Sweet Baboo and Trwbador - and debut plays for a raft of excellent, brand new Welsh artists: Queer'd Science, Charli Bicknell, Give Me Memphis, Chloe Cook, Nanook of the North, Local Sports Team, The Lumpy Choo Choo Band and Who Are The Monsters?

Please submit any demos you have via the BBC Introducing Uploader.

All other music/correspondence will be welcomed by a warm and open inbox at: themysterytour@gmail.com.

I forgot to play Euros Childs' brand new single Be Be High. It's out today. It will chase away early winter darkness and dead leaf golems. Trust me.
