The wellies came in handy on the Maes yesterday afternoon but it wouldn't be an Eisteddfod without at least some rain.
Thankfully, it is much drier in Llandow today with lots of people taking advantage of the better weather.
It's rather cloudy here today but the next few days are looking much brighter with sunny spells.
Pressure is rising now and that means a fine and settled spell of weather for a change.
It will also become warmer with temperatures rising into the low to mid 20's Celsius, 22 to 79 Fahrenheit.
Saturday will continue dry and warm with the sunshine turning hazy with high cirrus clouds.
A south-easterly breeze will pick up too and that will keep exposed coasts in the south and west a little cooler with the sea temperature around 16 Celsius.
On Saturday night into Sunday a trough will spread from the southwest bringing showers. These could be heavy in places with a few rumbles of thunder.
A little cooler on Sunday with less sunshine - highs 17 to 20 Celsius.
Next week looks more unsettled and changeable, so make the most of the good weather over the next few days if you can.
And if you're coming to the Eisteddfod, don't forget a hat and suncream!
