The Port Talbot-born actor says of the White Rabbit: "He's a warm character, but at the same time he can be quite fussy and quite strict with Alice as well.

"He has an edge to him, a nervous energy, always feeling like he's behind time, time is very important to him. But he's quite brave when called upon.

"I wished I could have put the suit on and run around with the ears and the tail... Unfortunately, I just got to be in a sound studio doing the voice."

Other British actors that have voiced characters in the film include Stephen Fry (Cheshire Cat), Alan Rickman (Blue Caterpillar), Sir Christopher Lee (the Jabberwocky), Barbara Windsor (Dormouse) and Timothy Spall (Bayard the bloodhound).
