Now that my Sunday night show for new Welsh music has been fully assimilated, Borg-like, into the future technology of the BBC Introducing Uploader, I thought it would be a good idea to offer some tips and advice to artists intending to send me their music.

And, just to emphasise, these loftily-offered...

Parts of Wales were hit by heavy thunderstorms yesterday including Merthyr Tydfil where a young girl was hit by lightning. Erin Moran had a lucky escape but the chances of being struck by lightning are very low, about 1 in a half a million.

Most people in Cardiff know of Whitchurch Hospital. The huge and elegant buildings lie alongside one of the main roads into the city and, while many of those who come to Cardiff to work or shop may never have entered the place, they will certainly have seen the buildings from the upper deck of their...
