BBC ID - the new comment system
The BBC has a new blog sign-in called BBC iD. If you add a comment from now on you'll be prompted to upgrade your account(s). You only have to do it once and it should be quick.
One note of caution though: if you've got multiple BBC accounts, you'll only be able to upgrade one of them to BBC iD using your preferred username and email address.
If you have any questions or need a hand, you can get help over at the BBC Internet blog

Only upgrade it once? I've had to sign in, then follow the links then confirm FIVE times since the change, despite setting "remember me" and NOT deleting cookies, etc.
The new system was rolled out as a "beta" by the looks of it - how very Microsoft to push something before it's been made to work properly!

I must have spent half of monday trying to sign in to your blog. When it did eventually accept my details, I tried again this morning and the first thing it said was that your system didn't recognise my password ....again !!
Really poor by anyones standards.

It took me ages to sign up - and it was very annoying. And as Post 4 said.... where are the current subjects to blog on????

zeldalicious, you are not missing out not writing on current subjects!! Two days running, people living in cloud cuckoo land. First Bacon, who has changed his identity but forgot to ask them to bin the photo, and then today, the wife of the serial-affairs doctor who went down for poisoning his girlfriend in order for her to lose his baby, and who forgives him and will wait for him.
You couldn't make it up.
Or if you are desperate to fill your programme, maybe you could.

Carrie - this is absolutely appalling. What do the BBC think they are doing? Is this the radio version of OK magazine?
I heard that very strange interview with the woman this morning - psychiatric care might be more useful than appearing on a national radio station.
There has to be something more 'meaty' to discuss than human interest stories.
Give us back our messageboards, we could discuss the real issues of the day there.

Too right, zeldalicious.
I turn over to Radio Four, once Woman's Hour is over.

It's because, if they let us talk about the Johnson speech, they'll have on display all sorts of opinions that don't toe the party line or agree with their agenda...!

Now they are talking about people's sex lives and affairs - wonderful stuff. NOT! It's the Trisha show.
