How will you be saying thank-you for your Christmas presents? Do you write a card or a letter? Drop someone an email? Or it is okay to just send a text? Post your thank you letters here.
I think that the minimum wage should rise annually at a certain percentage rate. We need people to be at work as it gives them a feeling of self respect and with a reletively decent wage they are able to support their families.
surely to put a freeze on the minimum wage should, to avoid discrimination, mean that all wages should be frozen. I however dont remain convinced that freezing wages would stop costs being increased therefore I fail to see how such an action would truly benefit the economy. On the other hand, freezing the costs of the higher paid would keep business costs down more. Its pure mathematics. A wage increase of 1% on the minimum wage would cost considerably less than an increase of 1% on someone earning the 'average' london wage of £82k!!!
Yes I defininitely agree. Writing a thank you note is the best way to show appreciation. Email, texting and phoning are too convenient.
I called over to my brother's house on xmas eve to place presents under the tree so his kids could open them along with all their other presents on xmas morning.
However once I was over there later for dinner, I did not even get an acknowledgment from any of the kids. I am not going to give my brother advice about his kids, but this lack of acknowledgement is not a good sign. Otherwise they are very pleasant kids.
