Sir Alan Sugar is taking your calls this morning. There's lots for us to talk about - not least the economic downturn, Tottenham and the Apprentice. If you want to talk to him give us a call during the programme or post a question here.

    Dear Alan,

I have a disability. I am lucky enough to have a permanent job which I can hold down (despite the obvious difficulties) with support from my employer. However, I look at the opportunities for disabled people in the UK and I see employers who simply aren't prepared (or possibly able?) to employ disabled people because they perceive them to be slightly less productive or cost them more money. How do you think UK PLC views employing disabled staff and what do companies, the UK Government or disabled people need to do to change some of the perceptions?

I have just started my own business and am working with a cost reduction company to help businesses to save overhead costs. Would Sir Alan recommend that companies use this kind of service?

All the hype over the last week and what a disappointment. Sir Alan if you do not wish to answer questions then do not put yourself on offer.

I am not surprised that Sir Alan bailed out of the programme. The questions were crass.

A bunch of 6 year olds would have asked better questions.

Well said bronpep. I have to agree, that was very disappointing. I found it very arrogant of Sir Alan to cherry-pick only the questions he was prepared to answer. He may be successful and wealthy, but I wouldn't want to go for a beer with him.

Whilst there were some fairly dull questions, I have to say that, were I interviewing this man, I would call a halt to proceedings.

An exceptionally ignorant and rude man.
