On the Road
At the end of September we're heading for Birmingham and Manchester to do programmes with a live audience (hopefully involving you) from the Labour and Conservative party conferences. We won't actually be AT the conferences because with the security involved we wouldn't be able to get enough passes for members of the audience, so we may be in a hotel or somewhere nearby. Will let you know a bit nearer the time how you might be able to join us.

I thought there would be a thread on Mamma Mia with it being extensively featured on this mornings programme, but no. Well I would like to say that I am a fella who has seen both the stage show and the film. I can honestly say that my life has been improved ever since i saw the show in London. A bit sad really, but its a memory that makes me smile every time I think about it or hear an ABBA track. So what is wrong with that.
I went to see the film in Lancaster where many of the audience sang along to some tracks, applauded at the end and also got up for a jig.
The cinema was packed and it was 95% female . I went to see the Dark Knight the following week where there was easily 95% men.
The last time I applauded at the end of a picture was after Toy Story 2, the trouble is we were the only ones that did. ^
6 Brits in a cinema full of Americans in Florida. Whoops!
