A THANKYOU LETTER FROM BROOHAHA

Tom Robinson Tom Robinson | 20:42 UK time, Wednesday, 11 August 2010

A few weeks ago drummer George Whalley in Leeds recommended a howling mad track to us called "Incredible Weapons" by his band Broohaha.  We loved it, rushed it on air, and a week later the following handwritten screed on fake parchment arrived in our office addressed to myself and producer Tom Whalley (no relation):

I have to admit this is a first - not only on our 6 Music Introducing show - but actually in the entire 25 years I've been playing records on the radio. They describe their music as "an accumulation of influences, experience and expression - an attempt to find an equal balance between want and necessity" and you can hear for yourself what the results sound like at http://soundcloud.com/broohaha
