Put your questions to Michael Johnson
A few weeks back it was Usain Bolt. This time it's the man who preceded him as 200m world record holder and righteous wearer of the golden spikes - Michael Johnson.
What a line-up.
The deal is the same - post your questions down below, and I'll choose the most original, interesting and creative to put to the one-lap legend and BBC Sport expert when I sit down with him on Thursday.
Anything smeared in smut/libel/foolishness gets the instant heave-ho. Fair?

They're your questions, so I'll merely be the mouthpiece - but should you need suggestions, it'd be foolish to ignore the following tasty topics:
* whether and when he thinks Usain can steal his 400m world record too
* what Christine Ohuruogu has to run to win the Worlds this summer
* how fast he can still run over 400m
Over to you...

I'm Tom Fordyce and I cover cricket, rugby, tennis, athletics and - well, most sports except monkey-tennis. You can also follow me on ~RS~q~RS~~RS~z~RS~39~RS~)

Do you think that the lowering of world records is directly related to a single factor (e.g., training) or multiple factors (diet, training, genetics, equipment)? Based on your answer, do you think there will ever be a ceiling on achievement...and, if so, how soon in the sprints?

Dear Michael - Do you think it is fair that the tracks that athletes run on, continue to get harder, as a harder track surface will equate to a faster time. It seems unfair to compare a run, such as the one of Jim Hines' in the 68 Olympics to the one of Usain Bolt set last year, as one was set on a dirt track, and the other on a much harder synthetic surface. What do you think?. Many thanks, Elias- West Wales.

Hi Michael,
When you set the 200m world record at the 1996 Olympics many people felt it would last for many decades. Did you ever think about how long the record would last? When did you start to think that Bolt might get near it and possibly break it? How fast do you think you could have run in 1996 if you hadn't had that hamstring twinge towards the end of the race?
