Debate politicians

Final preparations are underway for the BBC Look North Election Debate.

Our venue is Immage Studios in Immingham, where people from across Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire will question a panel of three politicians.

Facing our studio audience will be Labour's Diana Johnson, Conservative Graham Stuart and Denis Healy for the Liberal Democrats.

I will host what I am sure will be a lively and stimulating debate on the many subjects currently being discussed on the campaign trail in our part of the world.

The debate will be shown on BBC One at 10.50pm on Tuesday night, just after the national and regional news.

I would just like to comment on what I heard on Look North regarding the above, Mrs Johnson said that these immirgrants were needed to do the jobs which us the british are not trained for, i have a question for her, my son trained to be a welder for 2yrs, found work welding which he really enjoyed, then the firm closed down, leaving him on the dole, he has tried and tried to find work, on 2 occassions he was told he wasnt suitable for work in a factory, 1st one - couldnt speak polish, 2nd - was told the superviser was polish and couldnt speak english they could only employ people who could speak polish so i am sorry mrs johnson we dont need these immirgrants there is plenty of young lads out there wanting a job, but are just not given the chance, its time this country closed its borders, got out of the EU and started to look after its own, us the british, my father and grandfather will turning in there graves now as to what this country as become.
