Semi Finals - Round Up

So there we have it, the semi-final is over. And what an unbelievable feast of vocals, drama, shocks and breakdancing it was.

First and foremost, let’s shed a tear and wave goodbye to four tremendous artists: AshKarlCleo, and Joseph. If that’s the last we’ve heard of them, we’ll eat will’s spray-can.

Naturally, you’ll be wanting to watch tonight’s performances again – you’re only human. Here they are…

And then there were four. The chosen ones. The golden ones. THE FINAL FOUR! They are Matt, Andrea, Leah, and Mike.

What did you think? Right result? Who was your favourite tonight? Pop your thoughts in the comments below.

Before we get too excited about the final, we need some sleep.

Night!

Ok, voted for Andrea but after Danny's comments I want to see some guitar playing next week - why I put her through just think it would be awesome to see her play, vocally I think based solely on tonight's performance Karl was better but the promise of possibly seeing Andrea play put her through, so both of you make the right choice in the final. And can some one explain to me why everyone is raving about Leah? I just don't think she's that great, sure she's good but personally I think there are better singers and artists in the competition that have now gone out. Cleo rocked it tonight and I was impressed especially after last week :)

Why the FINAL FOUR only have two names?

    Dear BBC,

    ERRATA!

I'm sorry but it seems your write-up needs to be edited and corrected -

"First and foremost, let’s shed a tear and wave goodbye to four tremendous artists: Ash, Karl, Leah, Cleo, Mike, Joseph,.."

    Hello?! Leah and Mike?!

"And then there were four. The chosen ones. The golden ones. THE FINAL FOUR! They are Matt, Andrea,..."

Seriously, there are two missing names there! A bit of a letdown to Leah and Mike, let alone their families, friends and supporters!

Despite the dodgy editorial it would be brilliant of ALL the remaining contestants did a song of their own or one written especially for them.

We have 4 very different finalists, with some that do not fit so well into conventional pop music.

I would love to hear how Andrea sounds singing her own music. Leah definitely sounds so much better doing her own stuff, which is not standard pop at all. Mike with a song of his own could tug at the heartstrings of all the C&W fans. Where Matt could really pull something soulful out of the bag.

Like last year, my favourites went out in the semi final. Love Karl Michael's voice. Hope he makaes an album soon.

Don't know why Andrea can't sing her own stuff, which Danny says is better than songs he can pick for her.

Also, why is Will allowed to be on his phone half the time? It just looks rude to the singers and the viewers.

But overall, a lot of talent in this year's series. Much stronger than last year's. Well done everyone who got through to the later stages of the competition. Really enjoyed the series.
