What’s good, people – it’s a sniffling Reggie here.

Oh man, that was tough. Tonight, Sam Buttery and Sophie Griffin became the first ones that got away in The Voice UK live shows and it knocked us all for six…

The first two artists have been voted off. Was your favourite saved?

Following a bunch of eye-poppingly awesome performances by Team Tom and Team Will, Sam and Sophie found themselves in their bottom-twos, alongside Matt and Sueleen and Joelle Moses.

As you’d expect, Sir Tom and Will found it majorly difficult to decide who to save but following lots of chin-scratching, soul-searching and help from the other coaches – it was goodnight for Sam and Soph.

People, please show some love for both these incredible artists. They’re the bees’ knees and we’re gonna miss them big time.

Did the right ones go? Tell us what you’re thinking.

I need a cuddle.

Night,

Reggie x

No doubt I will not be popular, but basically I think that The Voice is rather boring. As yet I have failed to get involved and feel that it is all rather contrived. Quite why the BBC decided to spend so much money on this format remains a mystery. On Saturday evenings I now watch anything but BBC whilst the programme is on, as there are quite enough dramatics in real life and can well do without all the 'sob' stories.

It all started very well but was disappointed that so many of the older contestents were let go on the second round. Why bother pretending that the results programme was put out live - they were weating their previous clothes. It would be far better if you just have the one show on a Saturday night as there is no fooling the viewers. I think that Ruth Brown is amazing when you consider she has had no voice training at all. Her and Jazz are just so ahead of the field - will we be hearing what has happened if anything to the voted off contestents - would be great to know.

Contrary to the auditions the result show was a disappointment. The presenter was way out of her depth, putting leading questions to the judges (it's hard isn't it?); she and the judges had very little to say; the cameras rested far too long on the crying losers thus adding embarrassment to the whole thing. The judges' singing was below their charges calibres. The guest star was boring.
In short, I did not like it.

I for one am grateful for the BBC putting the results shows on the iPlayer it means I can skip all the rubbish and just skip to the last 5 minutes or so and come here for what I want, which is the results, which where tapped after the live show went off air, I still find it funny that the BBC try to fool us but we are too smart.

Why oh why do these judges think they're coaches, they're not! Mentors yes. Surely if your a coach you find the range that they can sing in help them stretch that range or do it better. Then you choose a song that you think will match that range and then make them technically better. Not here's a song I'd like you to try. The nearest anyone got to coaching was when Jessie J told Adam to relax his jaw. Not only are these "coaches" short changing the contestant but they are doing the same thing to the public. Would I like to be mentored by any of these judges, damn right yes. Would I like to be coached by these judges no, but I would like to be coached by the people who coached the judges in their singing. There in lies the difference. If it keeps going like this then no wonder more than half the contestants sing out of key.

Who was that useless 'star' singer on Sunday night? Whiney voice, unclear words and static on the stage. Anyone of the competitors would have been better.

Given the phone voting rows of the not too distant past it would be better for the BBC to be up front about the results show being recorded on Saturday. We all know the score so why not be open about it?
The BBC's track record with talent shows isn't great but I think they've got some great contestants this time. Let the contestant's talent shine thrugh with fewer talent show cliches.
