'They're going to be pretty demoralised'
It is a big week for President Obama, fighting to save his plans for healthcare.
He's due to attend a Labor Day picnic with trade unionists, and will probably hear fears from liberals that he's about to give too much away. Most of those I talk to think not only that he must, but also that he will get some bill through.
But when I interviewed conservative academic Thomas Miller of the American Enterprise Institute, he tells me that he thinks Democrats are halfway through the popular model of the process of grieving and loss, as you can hear below.
