Apparently Madonna's said that one of the reasons she's leaving the country is she's fed up being called Madge.

We can't let that pass without asking...

      My name is Madge not shortened from anything just Madge.
      I for one would hate to see Madonna go because I loved seeing my name in print!

      I'm proud of my name its unusual and people always remember it!

      I heard her moaning once before about being called Madge on the sycophantic Richard and Judy show and they agreed with her that it was a horrible name!!

      There are obviously a few Madges in this country, lets club together and buy her a one way ticket home!!
