At Yorkshire Museum, Angellica Bell examined a foruth century skull that may cause history books to be rewritten. Angellica says that the discovery of this skull proves just how multicultural Britain was during the Romans.
The width between the skull's eye sockets and the shape of her nose indicate black ancestry, say experts. However, the shape of the nasal spine and lower face indicate white ancestry, suggesting that she is of mixed race.
Although mixed race people were not necessarily uncommon in Roman York, her skeleton shows she had a comfortable life, and was unlikely to have been a slave.
Using state of the art facial reconstruction, Angellica revealed for the first time what this woman who was mixed race, may have looked like.
It seems that this skull may indicate that Roman Britain was a multicultural society.
The skull will be on display at Yorkshire Museum from August 2010.
On Wednesday 21st October the guest on The One Show was Jamie Cullum, and with a piano in the studio he was tinkling the ivories.

On Tuesday 20th October the guest on The One Show was lead singer from Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Holly Johnson.
As well as being famous for their hit singles, Holly's band spawned a fashion for T-shirts bearing slogans, with just about anyone who was anyone wearing a 'Frankie Says Relax' T-shirt during the eighties.
So... we wanted to know what slogan we should all be wearing on our T-shirts today. Adrian's had a go, take a look at his photo on the right.

All this week our science man Marty Jopson is trying to make sense of our senses.
On Tuesday's show Marty brought some optical illusions into the studio to show how our eyes can deceive us.
In case you missed it here's our version of the 'Colour Illusion'

Concentrate on the black dot in the centre of the video and after 15 seconds the image appears to change into colour!
Marty Jopson explained how this worked in the show on Tuesday 13th October.
It's to do with the cells in the brain that respond to particular colours. They become tired when you stare at a colour for a long time. Take the colour away and your brain effectively subtracts that colour from what you see. So when you look at the negative image and then take the colour away you see a positive colour image.
But don't worry, the effect is temporary.

Zippy and George, from the legendary children's show Rainbow, came in to chat to Adrian and Christine on Friday 9th October.

But the question on everyone's lips was, 'What's happened to Bungle?'

The One Show's Strictly expert, Arlene Phillips, has given us her verdict on the celebrities so far.
But rather than revealing who she thinks will be the winning couple. Arlene's prediction is being kept in a tightly sealed envelope which will be opened on the eve of the Strictly Come Dancing final in December.
Will our Strictly expert be spot on or has she chosen the star who's just been hiding their two left feet? We'll have to wait until the end of the series to find out!
The Strictly story so far: We've seen each couple dance twice, as they demonstrated their new skills in a Ballroom and Latin number, and we've said goodbye to tennis ace Martina Hingis and former jockey Richard Dunwoody.
Our very own 'Rythmic' Rav Wilding and Phil 'Twinkle Toes' Tufnell will be competing on Strictly Come Dancing this Saturday 3rd October at 7pm on BBC One.

Stephen Fry was the special guest on the one-hour One Show on Friday 2nd October.
Whenever Mr Fry's name is mentioned, the words 'national treasure' are often not far behind. But, modestly, he wouldn't acknowledge his elevated status when he last appeared on the show.
So, we've attempted to clear things up once and for all. We sent out Des Coleman with a cardboard cut-out of the great man to meet the people of the UK. To prove once and for all that Mr Stephen Fry is the real deal: an official, fully-accredited and very widely loved National Treasure!
