Bulldogs in need of a new home!

The One Show Team | 12:52 UK time, Monday, 24 August 2009

cute_bulldogs.jpgTonight on The One Show we met two bulldogs in need of a new home.

Duchess was found in a neglected state, but is being lovingly nursed back to health.

And we also saw Maggie, who nearly died from the abuse she suffered in the past, but today she is happier and healthier than ever.

I would just like to say how disgusted i was at the way John Sargent cut Tania Holmes short in the interview never give her the chance to explain about the good work she does for this adorable breed he was more interested in handing over those horrendous dog collars to Adam Sandler not even a dog lead for Tania to raffle for the charity but suppose thats all we could expect from the BBC.

In complete agreement with "preciousjimalf". Dire presenting tonight. What was the point of inviting Tania Holmes to the show and then not letting her talk about the great work she does? Bulldog lovers all over the country were looking forward to the show tonight and everyone I have spoken to was disappointed to say the least.

Also, those collars were indeed "horrendous".

I think the BBC owes Tania an apology and the chance to come back and do a proper interview.

Yes! bring Tania back. so she can give the bulldog society the plug it deserves, and lets have one day a week to bring some homeless dogs in, and maybe do a bit of good.
